A Fat Burning Diet Alone May Not Be Enough
If you truly want to lose weight fast, having a great fat burning diet plan is a good start but may not be enough.
Losing body fat involves many different components and can be quite complicated. The best way to lose body fat is quickly, for several reasons.
1. Motivation- by far the most difficult aspect of maintaining a weight loss program is staying motivated. If you begin to lose weight, you will be motivated for awhile, but small gains over long periods of time lose their ability to keep you focused and disciplined. On the other hand, if you consistently lose significant amounts of body fat, it’s hard not to stay motivated.
2. Breaking bad habits- staying consistently focused on intense workouts will not only keep you motivated but you will be much more likely to keep the new habit. When you see how quickly you can lose weight, the motivation becomes more powerful than the old limiting beliefs and habits. In short order the new lifestyle will replace the old habit.
3. Chemistry- there are literally thousands of factors that come into play when we lose weight. When body fat is released slowly it only has a mildly beneficial effect on body chemistry but when a certain level of intensity is reached the flood gates open. The effects are almost miraculous, it’s like you flipped on the fat burning furnace, which leads me to the fat burning diet.
Fat burning diets are everywhere, and everyone has the magic pill or formula to help you lose fifty pounds in one month. Let’s face it, no matter what fat burning diet foods you eat, you will still need to do the dirty deed; exercise. In fact, if you are truly serious about not just losing weight, but turning your body into a fat burning machine, you must also perform resistance training, yes, you too ladies.
This is what I call the magic trio. Fat burning diet plans when combined with fat melting exercise, topped off with resistance training, will have you melting off body fat so fast your scale will spin. Combining these three magical components together is better than any fat burning diet, not just threefold but exponentially. You see, each of these three components in and of themselves are like a flute, violin, and trumpet, but when you combine all three, it is like a symphony.
Here are some examples of what I’m talking about. When you begin a cardio program, you will strengthen your heart, lungs, and improve the efficiency of the blood flow throughout your entire body. Weight training increases lean body mass which in turn improves strength and agility. Eating the right foods, at the correct times, in the proper proportions will have you feeling vibrant, energetic, looking younger and feeling healthier.
Here’s where it gets interesting, each and every component of each aspect of the “magic trio”, improves exponentially each and every other component of the other two. What a mouthful, here is what I mean. Eating a healthy meal gives your more energy and helps you to lose weight. In turn, you use that surplus of energy to exercise harder, which also gives you more energy and helps you to lose more weight. You end up sleeping better, which also helps increase energy and the body’s ability to lose weight. Having all of this ever increasing energy, you increase your resistance training to ever higher levels. Increasing lean body mass, raises your metabolism, which also helps you to lose weight and on and on.
I think you get the picture. As great as fat burning diet plans can be, they are in and of themselves as I pointed out, not even one third of the puzzle. In the beginning this can all seem overwhelming and if that’s the case, listen to your body, don’t overdo it and get some help from a friend or a trainer.
